Nobo Borsho celebrated with more fun at Supertron

Bengali New Year or Pohela Boishakh is generally known as “Nobo-borso”. Here “Nobo” means new and “Borso” means year. This day celebration is blended with colourful traditions and ethnic beauty. Same with our Supertron Family, where everyone is always ready to celebrate every occasion irrespective of culture and traditions. This year, as the day of Poila Baishak is Sunday, celebration was done on 13th April 2018 on Friday.

Bengali New Year day is a “Bangaliana Day” for Supertron Family and it is made more ethnic by all the family members where the ladies clad in sarees and the gentlemen looking dapper in kurta. The whole office was festooned with colourful decorations that display traditional artistic handicrafts and creations. The fragrance of occasion is moving round the office and the work for the day took a back seat.

After lunch hour, everyone was busy to wrap up their pending works and the clock stuck 4. Our CEO, Mr Sanjay Choudhury announced to close our machine and to get on the floor to celebrate the occasion. His energy just flawed the room and there is sudden change in the environment. Our HR Manager, Ms Payeli Sen Majumdar has come up with few interesting games like Guess the Song Tune, becoming a mannequin. But it was our CEO, who had come up with few games which made us to think before we act but it was lovely to play all the games. All employees had done fairly well in all the games and among them few had grabbed prizes for the first, second and third positions. Next it was turn to select the “Best Ethnic Male” and “Best Ethnic Female” which was won by SEO Executive Mr Abhishek Dhar and Senior Web Developer Ms Sharmistha Adhikary respectively.

On the very day, Supertron Infotech decided to recognise all the performers of last year. Their contributions have lead supertron to produce 14 big projects in the year 2017–2018. All the employees were appreciated by their seniors and an incentive was also given to them. The new joinees were introduced to whole team so that work becomes a fun for them in this environment. Poila Baishak without sweet is incomplete and for that the day was ended with snacks and cold drinks and sharing of lovely wishes for Bengali New Year.
